Look-Alike Letters

Several Hebrew letters look very similar, especially to beginners. Mixing them up is one of the most common early mistakes - and completely normal. The trick is to learn the small differences in each pair. Once you see them, you won't unsee them.

Below are the most commonly confused pairs, each with a visual tip to tell them apart. Try switching to Script mode - some pairs are easier to distinguish in handwriting.
